Since children are bora, they are colourfully related with the others in the society. Parent-child relations and peer relations are the two significant driving forces that make the children gain social development. Peer relation is an important source of a sense of security about the young children, which is very important for the healthy development of children. Regardless of how the child is (growth retardation or physical disabilities), peer relationship is an important factor that affects their physical and mental development. The purpose of this study is to explore peer relationship between mental retardation children and ordinary children in the general kindergartens. Namely: actual peer relation of mental retardation children in ordinary kindergartens and analyzing a number of factors which impact peer relation. Mental retardation children has been interpretted from their own, peer, teacher, teaching, environment and parents' training.This study used qualitative research methods. That is, the researcher myself has been used as a research tool, in natural scene using a variety of data collection methods to make an overall explaration about the social situation. Two case studies are regarded as tracking objects. The research has made a description observation on samples for 8 months. Combining with parents, teachers, peers and their own interviews, through the classification of their acts and summary, the study has made the following conclusions:Firstly, the impact of kindergarten activities' plan on peer relation:The form of a single game and the lack of environmental materials is not good for the improvement of children' socialization skills.Spontaneous play is not healthy for mental retardation children to master the correct communication way.Secondly, the impact of teachers' attitude on peer relations:Teachers' encouragement and clever seating arrangements enhance the interest and confidence of peer interaction for mental retardation children.Mental retardation children's personality, behavior and habit directly affect the attitude of teachers.The teachers' low expectation and lack of professional skills are the main reasons of the lack of opportunity for children with intellectual disability to communicate with their peers.Thirdly, the impact of the attitude of parents'raising on peer relations:Parents emphasize the improvement of their cognitive ability and the training self-care ability. However,they pay less attention to the skills of communication with others and right exchange behavior.The major content of daily living is taking care of the children, so there's hardly chances to go outside for fun.The parents lack professional team support and exchange of experience with others in the aspect how to train Children.
