| With the coming of neo-economy era, human resource has becomefundamentally strategic in national economy and social development.Nowadays the quality of talents is dependent on education, therefore theteachers have become a leading role in talents' training. In the humanresource management of 'university, faculty' s performance evaluationplays important role.Faculty is a special colony, and throughout the consecutive evolution,the faculty' s performance evaluation has accumulated some experience inboth theory and practice. But the conventional performance evaluationdidn' t regard with the faculty' s traits, and has much deficiency; it can't fulfill the purpose of the performance evaluation, so it' s necessary totransit the evaluation concept, advocate developmental evaluation, andcomplete evaluation procedure.In this paper, Based on the analysis of the problems in the faculty' sperformance evaluation and of comparison of other country' s evaluationmodes, the writer put forward countermeasures. The whole essay isdivided into four parts. In the first part, we convey the main concepts andthe traits of the faculty. In the second part, we analyze the presentconditions and problems involved in China. In the third part, we study theperformance evaluation modes in other countries. At last, we proposed thecountermeasure to cope with the problems. |
