| In the late 18th century, under the impact of the Great Revolution, the old university system was completely modified in France. The establishment of higher professional music education, along the lines of the Conservatory pattern, established the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (cnsmdp) which was the first modern higher professional music educational institutions in the world and became the model of High Professional Music educational institution in the west. In the subsequent development of more than 200 years, leaded by the cnsmdp, a French higher professional music education pattern which called "pyramid" structure was established gradually. It played an important role in the world. In 1990's, along with the promotion of the higher music education integration in Europe, France has also joined the "Bologna Declaration" of the reform. The formation of its long-standing structural model of education is also about to change. This paper intend to sort out the historical development of the French system of higher professional education, and analyze the causes, as well as study the status. This paper also want to discuss about what can we learn from their experiences for our country now while facing the internationalization of the education environment and how to cope with demand from a development. |
