| This article utilizes historical documents such as examination recorded, local records to develop a deeper understanding of Ju-ren (first-Degree Scholars in the imperial exams) of Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang Province. It carries out statistics about the number of Ju-ren of Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang Examination, based on the examination of the amount of Ju-ren of Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang Province. With this condition, this paper focuses on the in-depth analysis of the life and works of Ju-ren of Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang Province.The deep reasons of the carrying out of the imperial examinations are the willingness to control over the heart of its people, the selection of personnel, the consolidation of the rule by the emperors of Qing Dynasty. Meanwhile the eternal lives and the coronation ceremony are the direct cause. Therefore these papers state the specific situation of the time and allocation of the amount of different areas and etc. During Qing dynasty, there were totally about 2323 Ju-ren enrolled in Zhejiang province, which eased the pressure on Imperial Examination in Zhejiang Province during Qing Dynasty in some way.The study of Ju-ren is one of the most important subjects in the imperial examination research circle, however, the academic study in this field is obviously insufficient in China and abroad. Therefore, this article gives a whole new level of precision to the different professions of Ju-ren, using data statistics, with more than 10000 of Ju-ren of Qing Dynasty in Zhejiang Province as the reference object. There are two basic future pathway of Ju-ren, one is to take the metropolitan and palace examinations and become Jin-shi (a kind of social status valued most by people from Sui Dynasty to the late time of Qing Dynasty), the other is to enter political stratum directly, however, there is still a small number of them neither both. Therefore, in order to further promote research in the field, this article demonstrate the various kinds of outlet of Ju-ren, analysis and explore the characteristics of outlets and impact on sociality from the means of entering into official class, social mobility and academic education of Ju-ren with the date statistics. |
