Cultural Probe Into Zhangjie's Novels

Zhangjie is the most talented, controversial female writer with eminent characteristics in Chinese modern literature field. She wrote many beautiful literatures through her own unique view to observe the society, to write with her special delicacy and sensation and gave thoughts to the emancipation of women. She has undertaken several stages in writing to achieve a mature style of writing. Her innovation and exploration in the feminist literature field has not only pioneered the research but also exerted great impact to other female writers with a lot of good experiences. At the same time, her works brought critics from other researchers. Some people viewed her as a pioneer and a leader in the literature field, others criticized her not be able to divorce herself from the shadow of male chauvinism with residue feminist visions.Of all the works, writers stay behind and behind the writers are the cultures. Culture confines the creative jobs of writers while the works indicate the cultural thinking of writers. This paper tried to illustrate from five aspects, they are the gender dilemma, love fable, salvation spirit, traditional sentiments and writer's characteristics so as to analyze the cultural meanings, writing techniques and other hot controversial issues of Zhangjie's novels, to find out her impact and status Zhangjie played on contemporary literature. The paper is carried out with Text-chopping method and Comprehensive analytical methods to scrutinize her novels and reach on the historical culture and finally to appreciate the amazing artistic world created by Zhangjie. This paper illustrated its unique thinking and illustration towards the works of Zhang jie with full respect to the reaches carried out beforehand.
