In the history of notes for ChunQiuZuoZhuan, ChunQiuZuoZhuanGu, which was written by Hong Liang-ji in Qing Dynasty is an important work. However, the research on ChunQiuZuoZhuanGU is relatively little. Hong Liangji corrected Du Zhu with opinions of professors in HanWei Dynasty inmain. He tried his best to recover the original face of ChunQiuZuoZhuan in HanWei Dynasty and corrected many errors of Wangwenshengxun in Duzhu. Meanwhile, there were many exegetical defects in his book inevitably. However, theexegetical characteristics of ChunQiuZuoZhuanGu can't be ignored. Its contribution to the research on ChunQiuZuoZhuan was still very important. Compared this book with DuYuJiJie, this paper is going to sum up its exegetical characteristics, meanwhile, to present my own viewpoints on its exegetical defects in order to excavate its value of exegetical studies and attract more attention of academia in this area. There are four chapters in this paper. The fist chapteris XuLun. The second chapter introduces the experience of Hong Liangji and his intention of writing ChunQiuZuoZhuanGu. The third chapter mainly discusses the exegetical characteristics of ChunQiuZuoZhuanGu, and the forth chapter maily analyses exegetical defects in ChunQiuZuoZhuanGu. Finally ,I deduce the conclusion of it on basis of the four chapters.
