| The current paper gives a synopsis of the origin, growth and maturity of comic cross talks in Singapore. Through the analysis of the texts of Singaporean comic cross talks, the paper examines the themes, trains of thought for composition, psychological and linguistic characteristics. Moreover, it also examines the role that Singaporean comic cross talks play in promoting local Chinese education. |
