The Chronicle Biography Of Wang Shen-zhong

Wang Shen-zhong, style Daosi, named Nanjiang first, later Zunyan, also Zunyan Buddhist, was born in Jinjiang, Fujian Province in 1509 and died in 1559. At the age of 18, he became a Metropolitan Graduate in Jiajing 5^th year of Ming Dynasty. He was assigned to Board of Revenue as Assistant Secretary, soon he was turned to Board of Ceremonies as an overseer of sacrifices. In August, Jiajing 13^th year, he was assigned to Changzhou Region as an assistant sub-Prefect. In July, Jiajing 14^th year, he was promoted to Board of Revenue in South Capital, soon was turned to Board of Ceremonies. In April, Jiajing 15^th year, he was promoted as Assistant Surverllance Commissioner in Shandong Province. In February, Jiajing 17^th year, he was promoted as the Left Assistant Secretary of Commisioner in Jiangxi Province . In May, Jiajing 18^th year, he was promoted as Left Section in Henan Province. In January, Jiajing 20^thyear, he was unseated and returned hometown. He lived in his hometown later and died at the age of 51.
