Tai Hung-tz'u was known as the first person who became the prime minister from the Junji minister of Guangdong in Qing Dynasty. He was born in an old and well-known family in Naihai of Guangdong where the people loved the books. He lived in Xianfeng, Tongzhi, Guangxu and Xuantong periods in Qing Dynasty. Tai Hung-tz'u became an official from imperial examinations and won promotion step by step. In his life, He ever held a post as the subaltern of the Ministry of Punishments, the Board of Revenue and Population, the minister of Ministry of Rites and Judiciary. What's more, he was one of the ministers in the Cabinet. In the end of 1905, he was dispatched by the governors to some countries in the east and west such as American, Japan, Germany, British etc. to investigate with Zaize, Duanfang, Shangqiheng and Lishengduo, who built up the "Five Minister" Mission. Before the dispatch, Tai Hung-tz'u had already become famous as a minister who dared to say something and willed to accept the new things. In the course of investigation, he paid more attention to the constitution, economy, education, judicature and so on in order to be beneficial to the innovation. After he came back, he led to the administrative rights of judicature as the first minister in our country. Under his guidance, the judiciary cooperated and diverged with Daliyuan whose leader is Shenjiaben. They tried their best to make the judicial independence come true. The time that Tai Hung-tz'u lived in was the end of the feudal society so that he had the new and old character. He stuck up for the Qing Dynasty, but he would like to tend to the new things and care for his hometown. He did many things for Guangdong and he was one of the historical famous persons in Guangdong. On the basis of information which I have gotten and the experience of Tai Hung-tz'u's life, this paper focuses on the investigation of the "Tai-Tuan" Mission which Tai Hung-tz'u was one of the leaders and the stories which he attended the innovation.
