| Because imitation, symbolization and suggestiveness of music are very abstract, there is spacious room for interpretation among composition, performance and appreciation: different people could have different understanding and interpretation of a musical work. Thus the same work could produce much debate and different schools because of different understanding. This variety in understanding the same piece of music makes many people feel the difficulty and evasiveness of music. Therefore, music calls for the support of hermeneutics theories more than other forms of art. This thesis intends to integrate hermeneutics theories with music aesthetic activities so that hermeneutics theories could supervise music aesthetic activities. |
