This paper is based on the statistics and analysis on outdoor advertising in Qinhuangdao, through taking photos and systematic investigation, this paper develops a comprehensive understanding of the situation and actual distribution of outdoor advertising in Qinhuangdao. Chapter one mainly starts from the development of outdoor advertising, features and functions, and summarizes some sort of outdoor ads at the theoretical level, and lay a good theoretical basis for the study of outdoor ads in Qinhuangdao City form design module perspective.The second part of the paper is based on analysis about environmental characteristics of outdoor advertising in Qinhuangdao, which includes geography environment, cultural environment, economic environment and sustainable development of the outdoor advertising in Qinhuangdao. All this contribute to the understanding of the morphological characteristics of regional outdoor advertising.In chapter three, the paper divides Qinhuangdao district into six regions by geographical environment and economic development, they are: Qinhuangdao harbor area main business district, secondary business district, economic and technological development zones, university park, Beidaihe District, Shanhaiguan area, and analyzes the specific shape of the distribution of outdoor advertising respectively. Analysis of the objects includes the number of outdoor advertising in each region, and the main components of outdoor advertising content, then obtain the design of outdoor advertising in the region specific distribution patterns. This kind of analysis of regional characteristics of outdoor advertising reflects the different composition of regional economic differences. The fourth part of the article research various forms of outdoor advertising to study specific cases through specialized analysis to overall composition of various forms of advertising situation in the level of the entire city in Qinhuangdao.In Qinhuangdao, outdoor advertising has been in the development of the primary state, and did not have a certain academic scientific guidelines. This mass involved in the four areas of Qinhuangdao outdoor advertising survey is also comes to be the first time.
