We compare all the routes of the synthesis of adefovir in a great deal of literature。After thinking about the ecnomic benefit, the environment problems and the feasibility in chemical production, adenine was used as the starting material to synthesize adefovir by hydroxyethylation, transesterification with 4-toluenesulfonic acid diethoxyphosphorylethyl ester。2.
