Objective: To observe the ECG changes of the CHD patients by separately acupuncturing Shenmen Yuan-Source acupoint of heart,Wangu belonging to small intestine meridian in exterior and interior related with heart, Hegu belonging to large intestine meridian in non-correlationship with heart and non- meridian spot and to study the correlated speciality between meridians and zangfu. Meanwhile to observe the difference between acupoint and non- meridian spot and supply experimental basis for selecting the acupionts in clinic.Method: 120 CHD cases were randomly divided into four groups, and separately treated with four prescriptions: Shenmen,Wangu,Hegu and non-meridian spot. The changes of ECGs were recorded at pro-acupuncturing, the acupuncturing moment, and post-acupuncturing in 15mins, 30mins. Results: Shenmen and Wangu acupuncting treatment could obviously improve the blood supply of the heart; Hegu acupuncting treatment has certain action to improve the blood supply of the heart; non- meridian spot has not effect to the blood supply of the heart. Conclusion: The study shows that zangfu correlated meridians have the speciafcity to adjust zangfu function, and the acupoint has the relative specificity.
