Contrast Analysis Of Turf Quality On Seven Species Of Turf Grasses In Hefei

In this paper,seven varieties of turf grass species including Tall Fescue, Bluegrass,Ryegrass,Bermuda grass,Hybrid Bermuda grass and Manila grass were tested for assessment of turf quality by used turf grass evaluation system.Main result were shown as follows:1.The indexes of assessment system were selected as density,exture,color,uniformity,covering,Green period,Height,Grow speed,Resistance,Strength.2.In this paper,the value of every index is got form experiment or calculation,so it can improve the accuracy of the result of the turf quality.3.Rightly confirm the rate of turf index in quality estimate,comparing the result of quality estimate with Hefei realism,The results showed that Cynodon dactyon×C. transvadlensis are suitable for different middle and high turfs for water and soil conservation and sporting turf;Zoysia tenuifolia Will et Trin.and Festuca arundinacea Schreb.can be used for different middle turfs and have highest scores in watching turf; Zoysia matrella Merr.are suitable for middle and high watching turf and playing lawn;C. dactylon Pers.have highest scores in water and soil conservation;Poa pratensis L.Kentucky can be used as watching turf;Lolium perenne L.Perennial can be used in normal watching and water and soil conservation turf.
