| This paper has chosen 5 kinds of cover plants which have market potential:Sedum lineare,Sedum lineare'Pu Fu',Sedum elatinoides,Zephyranthes candida,and Ophiopogon japonicus f.nanus.Studies are carried out on the leaf anatomical structure,eco-physiological feature(including water changes in plants, osmotic adjustment,Membrane permeability,chlorophyll changes and enzyme activities et al)under drought stress stimulation.The purposes of the studies are to investigate the drought resistance mechanisms of these plants and compare their characteristics of drought resistance,and provide evidences to and promote their applications.The main results are follows:1.Use of paraffin sections of the test materials for structural anatomy.Judging by the fence,cuticle factors,a conclusion can be drawn that Zephyranthes candida>Ophiopogon japonicus f.nanus.But Sedum lineare,Sedum lineare'Pu Fu' and,Sedum elatinoides have no differentiation of the fence and spongy tissue,and have thinner cuticle.Their drought resistance are determined by the storage cell size and thickness of leaves and other factors,the cell size of Sedum elatinoides is the largest,followed by Sedum lineare and Sedum lineare'Pu Fu'.2.Under the stress of drought,the soil moisture and the relative water content of 5 species was decreased.Of which Ophiopogon japonicus f.nanus's leaves show the greatest relative decline in water content,and Zephyranthes candida which relative high water content show small decline in water content.3.There is a certain difference of the chlorophyll between the 5 species under the stress of drought.The chlorophyll content of Sedum lineare'Pu Fu',Sedum elatinoides,Ophiopogon japonicus f.nanus decreased and Sedum lineare,Zephyranthes candida were increased,4.Under the stress of drought,the study of the 5 species of the permeability of cell membranes,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,malondialdehyde(MDA)content, proline(Pro)content show that with the deepening of water stress level,changes in trends in different plants are basically the same:The activities of SOD increased at first,then decreased;Peroxide content of MDA,the permeability of cell membranes, Pro are all gradually increase.5.Combination of physical observation.By principal components analysis and subordinate function analysis,results show that the drought resistance of the 5 species from strongest to the weakest were as follow:Zephyranthes candida,Sedum elatinoides,Sedum lineare'Pu Fu',Sedum lineare,Ophiopogon japonicus f.nanus. 6.Analyze the 5 plants of the application of the principles and structure,stresse the importance of ecological configuration,and introduce the five kinds of test plants in the garden to be used in configurations,and recommend the allocation of several models for reference. |
