| This study was conducted to investigate effects of different additive Allium Mongolicum Regel extract( water soluble extract, AWE and fat soluble extract, AFE ) on rumen fermentation by batch culture procedure in vitro and to select its optimum supplement for sheep. Baced on the conclusion of in vitro trail, the feeding experiment conducted with 60 healthy Mongolia wethers to studied Effects of Allium Mongolicum Regel extract on fat metabolism adopting single factors random experiment design as 5 groups(AWE group, AFE group, AWE&AFE group, 4% Allium Mongolicum Regel group and control group respectively). The results indicated that:1. It was found in vitro trail that the optimum supplement levels were 402~498mg/kg for AWE, and 10~30mg/kg for AFE respectively, baced on the parameters of gas production, pH level, NDF degradability, NH3-N, BCP and VFA concentration2. In the feeding expirement, the AWE&AFE group decreaced content of SFA and increased MUFA and PUFA contents significantly in subcutaneous fat (SF); There was significant decreace on SFA content and significant increace on MUFA content in perinephric fat (PF) when supplemented AWE&AFE as well. AWE group increased MUFA content and C18:2/C18:3 ratio in PF significantly; the AWE&AFE group also increased MUFA content and C18:2/C18:3 ratio in longissimus doris (LD) significantly. There was no significant difference on PUFA/SFA compared with control group.3. Level of GLU was decreased significantly in each supplement groups compared with control group in different growing period. Allium Mongolicum Regel group had lowest TG level and difference was significantly. There was significant decrease on levels of HDL and LDL when adding the AWE, AFE and AWE&AFE.4. The AWE group and the AFE group decreased the activity of FAS in SF and the AWE&AFE group decreased FAS activity in PF, the FAS activity in liver also decreased by Allium Mongolicum Regel group and AWE group respectively; HSL activity in SF had increased significantly by the AWE&AFE group, furthermore the AWE&AFE group and Allium Mongolicum Regel group increased HSL activity in PF sinificantly, the AWE&AFE group, AWE group and AFE group increased HSL activity in liver significantly; Each four supplement group decreased LPL activity in SF significantly, LPL activity in liver and PF were increased by AFE group and the AWE&AFE group, difference was significant. 5. There was significant decrease on level of IGF-1 in AWE group and the AWE&AFE in different body weight; The AWE&AFE ingreased level of TNF-a significantly; Each four adding group did not show significant effects on level of LEP,but the levels tended to decrease.6. There was no significant effects of Allium Mongolicum Regel and its extracts on IF and TBF of sheep as 20 kg body weight, but when the body weight growing at 30kg and 40kg it decreased IF and TBF significantly. |
