With the development of communication, our country has the most complicated tunnels with the fastest developing speed in the world. The freeway tunnel is regarded as the bottleneck section of the high-speed network of highway, incidenting to a traffic accident, and the extent of accident hazard is great, aftertreatment is hard to dealing with. By the analysis of relevant information, it is known that the traffic accident of the tunnel section in expressways mainly relate to the driver, and the driver mainly relies on the visual system to obtain various traffic information. So it is very important for the traffic safety to study a driver in the physiological and psychological characteristics of vision in the freeway section of the tunnel. This paper is based on tunnel environmental characteristic, accident characteristic, the study of the driver's dynamic visual and ECG characteristic, through the analysis of the physiological and psychological characteristics, determine the rate of change in pupil size, the percentage of fixation time, the average fixation time, a the percentage of fixation number, heart rate increase as the evaluation index.Using Eyelink records in real car test, we record eyes move data, and analyze driver's changes of pupil size in short tunnel road, tunnel group road and specialty tunnel road, and use fast cluster to divide the driver's fixation into five interested areas, the correspond to the spatial overlay view, analysis of the driver's attention to characteristics of region of interest. Using Dynamic physiological detector records heart rate data in real car test, and using the theory and method of mathematical statistics and mathematical modeling, analysis of heart rate increase and the relationship between speed, heart rate increase with the direct relationship between the tunnel longitudinal slope, heart rate increase with the tunnel turn, slope and length of the relationship between the portfolio and set up a regression model. Finally, an analysis of the incident on the driver to overtake the impact of heart rate. Discussed in the section of mountain freeway tunnel on the driver of the psychological and physiological impact of traffic safety for the mountain section of the freeway tunnel, technical parameters and design specifications of the modified linear provide technical support.
