Research On The Construction Mode And Economic Evaluation Of Qingdao WuShan Digitized Substation Project

With the development of optical fiber communication system and network technology, at the same time, the requirements of miniaturized , intelligentized , high security electric power equipments are higher in power system , the substation integrative automation is gong into the new age of digitization. Electronic transducers are substituting traditional electromagnetic transformers. The merging unit (MU) connects with the electronic transducers and the protection devices, so former data acquisition modes are thoroughly changed, the questions of checking the protection devices and operations are brought forward. The paper describes the system architecture and design principles of WuShan digitized substation. It also analyses the technical character in the digitized substation. Finally the technical and economical significance of these new technologies are summarized.
