The oil box of a tank or armored car would be fired and exploded while it was attacked by cannonballs in modern war, which was known as"secondly wound effect". The method of detecting flame was improved in sensitivity and accuracy under latest light detecting from traditional temperature measurement. The single infrared detector or UV detector was used widely in international armored car as fire-killer equipment, but it was limited in accuracy. We bring forward the conception of full Spectrum detector, which can detect full wave band of beginning flame and enhance greatly in the accuracy of the flame detecting.In the article,the flame was detected by the equipment including SR5000 infrared spectrum detector and AvaSpec-2048 UV spectrum detector and the data of infrared and UV can be gained. The spectrum data can be inputted to the Storage and Analysis System of flame spectrum data and be analyzed by it. Without changing the condition of the hardware, the data that can not be detected by the detector because of the limit of its focal length can be predicted by the method of the single target analysis. Then the basic data of the flame spectrum can be gained. In addition, the connection between the flame spectrum and the detector can be founded through the concept of spectral matching and lay a foundation for further flame detector.
