| With the rapid development of highway, more and more culvert under high embankment are designed, but the diseases are caused constantly,which seriously affect normal operation of expressway and comprehensive evaluation of high grade highway. As a result, it is important to find a reasonable way to control the structural damage of high filled culvert. The paper focuses on the usual problems for the horizontal structural damage of high filled culvert, based on load-adjusting mechanism of EPS, with finite element analysis of MARC, combining with centrifugal model test, have research on the possibility and efficiency of the method which set different EPS boards of different thickness on certain area above the top of the culvert to make the settlement of the soil under the culvert to be even, and by numerical simulation, analyze some relative factors which act on the effects of load adjusting with different heights'filling soil, the material properties of EPS and the area of distribution with different heights'filling soil is given, and through further dealing with the ground to optimize the effect of load-adjusting, propose the designing project with load-adjusting of high-filled culvert. |
