| This article is based on research into Qingyan old town. It describes the current situation whereby the development of tourism is protected and reviews the old town's general situation together with the cultural history of Qingyan town.Issues relating to the town's current protection and development policies are analized. Based on his awareness of the issues, the author presents some opinions concerning the future protection and development of Qingyan town:(1) It is important to establish a protection policy that is practical in its implementation;(2) There are three essential factors that must be understood in order to protect Qingyan town: protoplast protection, environmental protection and protection of the town's historical features. Addressing these three possibly contradictory factors will result in new ways of protecting and developing Qingyan old town.The author, taking into account the above issues, presents his views on Qingyan town's protection plan and the Old town development proposals. |
