| Based on a gasoline engine FY156FMI for FY125-3P motorcycle manufactured by Panyu Huanan Motocycle Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., this paper designed the hardware system and studied the control strategy for electronic control motorcycle engine.On the basis of operating characteristics and fuction demand, the paper presented the the overall technical scheme on electronic control system for the motorcycles engine, which was the type of intake manifold injection, electronic control inductive ignition and by-pass control air inlet.And it was designed the load measurement method combined with the speed and density method and the choke valve and speed method. Addition, it was designed the measuring method of engine velocity and crank angle reference signal with a "36-2" teeth signal wheel.The paper designed the four hardware systems of electronic control motorcycle engine, i.s. fuel supply system, ignition system, air inlet system and electronic control system. The magneto and fuel system of short return were also designed. As the main parts of electronic control system, ECU, oxygen sensor, fuel injector and harness were described in detail on selection and installation design.As to improve the control function, this paper took a study on control strategy of electronic control system including that of injection control system, ignition control system and idle speed control system. It described the control types and requirements of A/F under various conditions, and theoretically analyzed and studied the computing model of fuel injection impulse width and its influencing factors. After a description of the ignition advanced angle's influence on the performance of engine, it was made a detailed analysis of ignition advanced angle and ignition energy control.With a theoretical analysis of PID computing model, this paper studied the application of PID control in idle air Inlet control, analyzed the control strategy of desird idle velocity and air amount. It was presented aseries of control MAP and correcting curves including fuel injection impulse width, ignition advanced angles, desird idle and air amount, In addition, the paper also described the security control strategy.After the electronic control system was applied to the motorcycle engine FY156FMI, the verification experiments were conducted under various conditions to verify the feasibility of control strategy. The results indicated that the control strategy adopted in this paper can attain the excepted function. It was conducted engine test and vehicle emission test at running mode and idle mode.The test results showed that the performance of power, fuel consumption and exhaust emission of electronic control engine developed were better than that of original engine significantly, and the exhaust pollutant emissions of motorcycle with electronic control engine developed can meet the requirements of Chinese Phase III motorcycle emission standard. |
