The Research On Artistic Stairs' Materials And Forms Design

Since nowadays artistic stairs have been a kind of furniture in the houses, this thesis is dealing with their materials and structures, beginning with the stairs' origin and evolution, and then going to all-round description of the stairs' function, how do the forms show, material and techniques in each history periods. The thesis is not only refering to the artistic stairs' functions and art manifestations, it is mainly narrated that how the relationship is like between force and material, material and form, material and function, including physiology and mentality. And narrated which are main types of artistic stairs' forms, and proceeding to explain the connection between artistic stairs form and the people's optesthesia logical, forms and it's function. but also discussing their effect on harmonizing the whole flat. Hereto, the author is attempting to propose some philosophy of the artistic stairs' design, and it sums up a few viewpoints in how to design a artistic stair.To steadily increase one's stairs creation standard, an artistic stair designer must have competitive creation consciousness, take the detail problem seriously and must comprehensively understand various materials. This research is aimed at widening the visual field of artistic stairs creation, and providing the artistic stairs designers with an exsiting definition of the artistic stairs rich in innovation consciousness.
