Keep the whole world in view, under the sweep of the changing from industrial society to Post -industrial society. Our country's industrial structure is also changing rapidly. Owing to the particular historical background of the development of Chinese society and the special characters of the primary stage of socialism, the development of our industry is still in a relatively lagging period. And this does not mean that all the industrial gardens as well as factories has been on the way to the so called postmodernism. China is still under the new era which is focused on industrial construction. In the city, many national old factories which were built in the early stage of new China and The Third Front Construction still exist. The most important is that they play a vital role in the development of our country's industry and economy. However, due to the objective influences of the large scale, more facilities, huge fees of rebuilding or moving and the unbalanced use of city areas, most of the old factories are not facing moving or rebuilding, while in a large degree they haven't block the city's planning.However, in terms of the construction of industrial landscape, the situation of a number of old factories which were built in the early time is very bad, the eco-system is quite weak, the scale of grass land is relatively small,the power of self-regulation is limited. And there also exits a series of problems, for example, unbalanced landscape layout, mixed landscape surroundings, old-fashioned building, declined vegetation and so on, let alone the requirement of comfortable landscape environment. All of these has seriously affected the eco-environment of factories, the quality of city circumstances and even the culture as well as the image of modern enterprise. It also affects the company's marketing competitive. Therefore, we must pay attention to the problems of the reasonable evaluate, reformation and updating of the environment of old factories.According to above viewpoints, this passage aims to analyze the old industrial factories' historical background, developing trail, changing landscape and declining process. Based on the investigation of some typical factories, I will choose suitable methods to estimate landscape and put forward mentality and ways of reforming our country's old industrial factories from the view of landscape planning design. In combination with the theory of eco-system and recreation, from the viewpoint of lasting development to make the balance of factories' landscape environment as well as economic benefit, environmental benefit and ecology benefit.My research will focus on the investigation and evaluation of old industrial factories; the new thinking, new technology and new methods of reforming; the systematic measures to reform by analyzing the background, resource characteristics, and the changing of landscape. Then I can have a overall analysis and comprehension of the landscape of old industrial factories. Based on the investigation of our countries factories, I will summarize the thinking, ways and principles of reforming. And do a practical research of the planning design and project.
