Function of the actuator is to drive the rudder rotate in the missile. With the upgrade of the missile's performance, integral demand of the actuator system is becoming higher and higher. These demands include volume and weight of the actuator, carrying capability and controlling performance.Actuator should be provided with low volume, high transmission ratio, low backlash, high stiffness and high power flow in structural design. At present, motor and reducer is designed dividually in the electromechanical actuator. Reducing the volume of the reducer is a widely used method for reducing the volume of the electromechanical actuator. Based on the principle and method of integrated design, a concept of integrated design between Brushless DC motor (BLDC) and Planetary Transmission is proposed in this thesis. Design method, design flow, analysis and simulation process of this scheme are expatiated.Actuator should be fast and reliable in demand of the controlling performance. The emphasis in this thesis is to design a controlling system of electromechanical actuator. After the research and comparison of the present actuator controlling system, a widely used actuator controlling scheme is adapted, and is modified according to practical needs. Simulation and analysis of Brushless DC motor (BLDC) are completed. Working module of each module is analyzed systemically. After the simplification of the BLDC motor, simulation and analysis of servo system are completed. After the analysis of the design guideline of controlling system, hardware system is build up, general scheme design of the software system is completed, too.In this thesis, concept design of the integrated electromechanical actuator is completed. Simulation and analysis of Brushless DC motor (BLDC) and servo system are completed. Hardware scheme design is completed. Hardware design of the single motor control board is completed, too.
