As the development of traffic construction of our country,the highway tunnel plan are leading to important increasingly in the high class highway construction of the mountain and the hills.More and more traffic engineering is present in the world,Chinese tunnel is famous for its length and quantity.But not only in China,but all over the world,more and more geologic problems have been met with in tunnel construction.Monitoring measurement is the key step of NATM(New Austria Tunneling Method)and the"frequent measurement method"from practice is one of the most effective principles to guarantee the safety and quality.As an important method of safety insuring,design optimizing,construction instructing,progress of monitoring and measuring technique is a matter of great significance for tunnel construction in bad geologic area.The paper focused on the construction of Wuzhuling tunnel,descdbes the monitoring measurement in Wuzhuling tunnel in detail,as well as the advanced technology of monitoring measurement.On the basis of former research of highway tunnel monitoring technique and theory,some monitoring measurements of NATM was strictly done in the construction.From the monitoring and measurement practice in the Wuzhuling tunnel,the stability monitoring items such as the axial stress of roof bolt, the sprayed coatings stress,the sprayed pressure of steel tunnel liner plate,the stress of after-coating of concrete.The comprehensive analyses of the information obtained by in-situ observation,in-situgeology survey,monitoring and measuring are perform ed as wel1.Be convenient to the estimation of the tunnel's stability,whatever, the safety and reasonability of the support and other construct of the tunnel can also be judged.Begin with the finite element simulation of the Wuzhuling tunnel,build up the tunnel excavating model.Imitate the variety of the tunnel during excavating in order to be point to monitor the tunnel.Then contrast the calculation and monitoring result for discovering the problem under construction in time.The measurement results are timely returned to the designer and constructor for necessary readjustment of supporting param eters and ways of construction.This measure has ensured the safe,cost-saving and speedy construction of this pro]ect.All of them enrich the conception of the information design and construction for tunnels.From the feedback of this information,all the work has been proved efficient.Using of the monitoring and measuring technique&information feedback,the safety of the tunneling construction can be insured by tech support and academic certify.Also,credible technical bases can be given for the optimizing and designing of the tunnel parameter which has designed.It will be helpful to the subsequent tunnel projects.
