Since the 1980s, with the speeding up of urbanization in our country, the demand for passenger transportation and the amount of motor vehicles have increased rapidly in urban areas. Together with the incomplete transportation infrastructure, the problem of urban transportation has loomed larger and larger. Foreign big cities'experiences in transportation development showed that the above mentioned problems cannot be solved by road traffic single-handedly. Our country's thickly populated urban dwelling and limited traffic space determine that we should solve the problem innovatively. First we should develop a kind of rail transportation system which takes the least road space and costs the least energy and makes the least pollution, and then try to invent new transportation means and establish new public traffic system.Evolved from the city light railway system, the individual low level railway vehicle is a special light railway system which is designed for one person with multiple engines, and running in low latitude (5-7 meters above the road surface). This kind of traffic system has adopted the carrier mode of "Flowing Cell". Together with the relatively independent low-level track, it can somewhat relieve the traffic jam, and make up the limited coverage of the subway and light railway effectively. In addition, seated in the one-seat cabin with full day shelter, passengers can enjoy a quiet and comfortable voyage, and their privacy could be well protected as well.The mode of the individual low level railway is established on the basis of the study of urban people's means of traveling, and it comes into form through the reasonable combination and effective application of current technology as well as taking account of the feasibility technically. The choice of routes and stations of the individual low level railway should come in line with the surrounding and road condition. For example, if the low level railway is erected above a green belt, then its piers will be integrated with the wire poles and street lamps, while the station will become part of the surrounding construction and the environment. In this way, designs alike will add to the scenery in the city construction rather than spoil the city sights.Urban individual low level railway system is quite useful for the city layout and theenvironmental protection. Moreover, it will perform much better than the current traffic system, being economical, low-cost, high-returns and convenient. We believe that as a necessary complement and development of the current traffic system, this system will change people's way of thinking and means of travel, and it will become an essential part of public facilities and the symbol of advancement!...
