Research On Evolvement Of The Conservation Plans Of The Historic Cities

There are more than twenty years since the system of Historic cities had been established in 1982 in China. The conservation plans of historic cities which have gone through several periods are an important part of the system of Historic cities. So far, it has come into being an experienced pattern in compiling the conservation plans of the historic cities, and has formed a relative perfect system of conservation plans. By studying lots of laws, criterions and crucial documents about the Historic cities, this paper concluded how the conservation plans of Historic cities evolved and the typical innovations in each period. This paper showed how we should compile a conservation plan nowadays also. At last, this paper made a judgment on the evolutive trend of the conservation plans' system and tabled some proposals on compiling conservation plans of historic cities in future.
