| Since the modern cable-stayed bridge came out in 1950s, the cable-stayed bridge has been developed rapidly with strong capability of structural spanning and beautiful shape. It was started experimenting and practicing in China in 1970s, and there are more than 100 of various types at present, of which over 60 are with more-than-200-meter span. China has become one of the countries which have the biggest number of cable-stayed bridges. Nowadays, the cable-stayed bridge is under the development of bigger span, but the completed projects are facing with the cable-changing problem. The cable, as a major part of the bridge system, is the core and soul ensuring the safe operation of the bridge.The thesis focuses on the examination, design and construction of the cable change of Qianwei Minjiang Bridge and tries to discuss the problems as follows:I. important examination items of the cables of the cable-stayed bridge and the result review and suggestions;II. basic principles of the design of cable changes;III. how to raise possible maintenance plans according to the result, and compare and justify feasible, economical and optimal plans for designing and constructing;IV. to offer experience for following similar cable maintenance and change and suggestions for designing of new cable-stayed bridges... |
