The electric propulsion has become the development direction of ships' propulsion by its many superiority, but at present surface vessel electric propulsion system research in domestic still was at the start stage, and has very many problems in the practical application process, therefore, developed the modeling and simulation of the ships electric propulsion system, not only was a innovative work, but could play to the certain model role. This thesis has carried on the following several job mainly:1. Introduced the domestic and foreign ships electric propulsion development and the present situation, the basis practical application and the shipboard equipment special request, to composed the ships electric propulsion system the basic essential factor and its the characteristic has carried on the analysis;2. Has outlined the multi- levels inversion technology development and the present situation, the domestic and foreign three levels frequency changer research and the production present situation, and multianalysis diode clamping three levels inversions voltage electric current rule.3. (SVPWM) controlled the diode clamping three levels inversions to the spatial voltage vector pulse-duration modulation (NPC) the principle, the algorithm and the simulation step has carried on the detailed introduction and the analysis, through to the simulation result analysis and with the similar condition next two levels inversion comparison, explained three levels inverted merit.4. Has analyzed the ship with three windings transformers characteristic, 12 pulse waves rectifier and its the filter circuit design mentality, and has carried on the modeling and simulation to the above content;5. To applied three levels inversions permanent magnetism synchronous motor vector control system to carry on the modeling and simulation, thesimulation result had proven the multi- levels technology used in exchanging the velocity modulation superiority.Finally, the author according to work that finish already, proposed to the multi- levels inversion teclanology, the ships electric propulsion technology forecast and to the next research work tentative plans.
