Research On Tourism Development And Planning Of Forest Park In City Suburb

With the rapid development of the world tourism and the high urbanization in the age of industrialization, forest tourism becomes a rising tourism. Nowadays the main way of developing forest tourism is to build forest parks, which can effectively protect the ecological environment, fully develop the forest's three benefits and constantly satisfy the people's increasing need of "going back to the nature". Since China's forest tourism starts its step very late, there exits a big gap between China and the developed countries, especially in developing and planning of forest park tourism. At present, the whole system of theory and methods of developing and planning forest park tourism has been yet established in China's academic circles. After study the values of developing forest park tourism systematically and analyze the present situation and trend of it, the author sorts out the basic system of theory, methods and techniques, on the basis of which, the author conducts the following research by taking the example of Wuhan city: investigating the resources, classification and transportation of Wuhan city's forest parks, analyzing the present situation and problems that exists in developing forest parks in Wuhan city, evaluating the tourism resources, the tourist market and developing conditions. In the end of the thesis, the whole concept of developing and planning of Wuhan city's forest parks, of which includes the target and principles of the developing forest parks, the concept of orientation and regionalization, and some suggestions of the developing forest parks are put forward.
