With rapid development of Chinese economy, Chinese no longer blindly worship western culture,cultural reflection brought Chinese culture and resurgence of the Chinese style design, Chinese style landscape also gradually back to people’s line of sight. Chinese began to tend to the pursuit of traditional aesthetic, so combined with the traditional Chinese garden charm and modern elements,"new Chinese style landscape" came into being. But all things will appear sorts of problems in the process of development, due to fuzzy cognition of Chinese Classical Gardens, someone just take the outside and difficult to get the culture intension,Especially in new Chinese style residential landscape, the likeness but absolute beings are not.Local architect Dong Yugan aware of the importance of save the culture in Chinese Classical Gardens.Therefore,he changed his doctoral dissertation from modern buildings against to the study of Chinese Gardens,intended to get the spirit of Chinese gardens.He divided it into eight and published at"Time+Architecture" named "Eight Chapters on Perfection".Stand on the shoulders of giants,The author extracted the arrangement, structure, segment and texture four elements, in order to guide landscape design,based on the viewpoint of "Eight Chapters on Perfection", corresponding to different elements in new Chinese style residential landscape design. As the example of practice from north to south, find the the common in spirit between new Chinese style residential landscape and Chinese Classical Gardens, summarying the deformation rules of the new Chinese style residential landscape on the basis of classical gardens, in order to guide the design on Chinese landscape in future.Hope to bring on discussion and research on the inner beauty of Chinese Classical Gardens and inheritance of traditional chinese culture and so on,mining to enrich and consummate the intension of the modern garden which comes from Chinese Classical Gardens, in order to explore the road of development on contemporary architecture and landscape in Chinese.
