| With the continuous improvement and development of finite element technology, It is in the car design has become increasingly widespread. In this paper, with the frame of the workover truck as example, finite element analysis and fatigue analysis technology is applied to frame design. The relatively complete computer aided engineering application system is formed. The purpose guiding the future design is obtained. MSC.Patran and MSC Nastran software are used in the research of the strength and modal of the workover truck frame successfully.First established three dimensional and finite element model of the frame, then analysis the strength of the frame is done. In tow conditions with work and without work, the strength of the frame is simulated and analyzed, the distributions of the stress and strain were get, thus to check the strength of the frame. In the static strength analysis, shell element and solid element were connected by the MPC (multi-point constraints),for reducing the computing time.To improve the dynamic characteristic of the frame, analyzing the response of the frame by excitation of the dynamic, the modal analysis and evaluation were carried out, then the ten natural frequencies and mode shapes are obtained. For improving the design of the frame structure, the theoretical basis for the further development of structural vibration equation were get to improve estimated the system response under loads and for further study of vibration, fatigue and laid the foundation for noise and other issues.When having the load data of the static strength, fatigue analysis was carried out on the frame. It was conclusion that this models is accorded with the design requirements. In order to more fully utilize the potential of the structure, saving the materials and depressing the cost of the frame, the improvements were given.In this paper, static strength intensity, mode and fatigue life of the frame were calculated by using the finite element in the status with working and without working. The results of the static strength analysis are less than the material yield limit. The natural frequency of the frame were got in the modal analysis, and the fatigue life is 75,857 times, then got the a detailed assessment of the design about the workover truck. |
