| Belt conveyor as a handling machinery to conveyor materials continuously, mainly used to transport massive, granular and other bulk materials and goods. Belt conveyor has a long conveyor distance, large volume, continuous conveying and running reliable, it is easy to be automatically and centralized controlled, so it is widely used to modern industrial production, especially for the highly yielding and efficient mine, Belt conveyor has become the key equipment to achieve electromechanical integration technology of the mine.However, the conveyor belt running continuous will has some failure, such as belt overheat, belt deviation, belt tearing, belt coal pile, belt fire, belt creep. It will cause greatly loss to the industrial production and casualties, so it is necessary to study the conveyor belt protective system. According to the different failure of this running conveyor belt, we select the appropriate sensors, for example, if the belt roller has overheating fault, we select the infrared temperature sensor, when the drum temperature is above a certain value, the temperature sensor transmits signals to the PLC to achieve the alarm; if the belt has fire fault, we select a smoke sensor, and it achieve the alarm through the PLC. In this paper, we describe the reason and damage of various failures, and mainly introduce the selection, performance, installation and commissioning of the sensor.In this paper, we describe the hardware and software of the control system in detail, According to the needed input/output nodes of the system, the paper chooses the Siemens S7-200 series PLC, the CPU unit using the CPU-224XP, the expansion modules using the EM221, the communication module using the CP243-1, and introduce the detailed functions of each unit module and the detailed communication parameters setting between the communication module and the host computer.this system is used in the mine, so this paper makes a brief introduction about proof design. The system is mainly to achieve two controls:the first one is a simple control, the part control the start and stop of the conveyor belt, and can't achieve the protection requirements of the conveyor belt, the start and stop of conveyor belt can be controlled by three methods, including manually, automatic and overall. The other is the protection, it can achieve the protection with the following:deviation, tearing, stop, overheat, coal pile, smoke and skid. The whole systems implement the remote centralized control, include starting against the coal flow and parking along coal flow.According to some signal of the sensor to judge the fault will be uncertain, therefore, this paper analyzes analysis of the signal collected by sensor using D-S evidence theory, in accordance with the probability of each failure to make a judgment. We choose the KINGVIEW as the development software of monitoring interface, it has a lot of advantage, such as adaptable, openness, easy to extend and short development cycle. It connects with the PLC through the communication module, collects the conveyor belt's running signals automatically and dynamically, achieves the real-time alarm of monitoring parameters and remote monitoring.In the laboratory, we test all the protection of this system, the belt can achieve a normal start and stop by the three control methods, Each sensor is triggered artificially, they can move and pass the signal to the PLC, achieve the alarm function. |
