It is one of the important development for large mining height of fully mechanized technology in the thick seam mining. The large height mining seam's angel is 8 to 15°(local seam is up to 20°) of Yangchangwan coal mine in Ningdong mining area, and the trend undulate angel is 8 to 12°,which contains much rock joints and fracture, and the coal seam's side pressure is big, besides all of these,the slice and localized roof caving are serious.The ascertain and optimization of"Three machines"(coal minning machine, scraper conveyor and hydraulic support) is key to large mining height of fully mechanized working face. Aiming at key equipments selection and safe-mining of 6.2 m large mining height of fully mechanized working face of Yangchangwan colliery in Ningdong area, large mining height resources occurrence condition investigation, coal and rock mechanics parameters experiment, numerical simulation experiment and in-site determines are used to ascertain reasonable mining technical parameters, which is provide surrounding control baseis to perform safe and effective play of the large mining height mining face's equipments. Based on theoretical analysis, numerical calculation and engineering analogy method, the key technology and property parameter of supports, coal minning machine, and scraper conveyor are assured, which procides equipmen basis. Proposed and implied coal minning machine, scraper conveyor, and the integral system's safe running, monitoring and manage countermeasures, all os these safeguarde the large mining height mining equipment's normal and continuous operation, improve the mining efficiency. Mining practices show that the integral performance and technical level of compongd equipments in large mining height face are adapt to the complex mining technological conditions of Yangchangwan Colliery, and it can also satisfy safety advancing requirement, based on all of these, the colliery realized high yield and high efficiency safe-mining, economic and social benefit is remarkable either. This research can provide reference for equipments'selection and high yield and high efficiency safe-mining of large height mining face under similar conditions in Ninddong area.
