| The most important problem of automatic real-time welding is how to track the welding seam. Compared with the traditional detection methods which are based on the acoustic or electromagnetic welding technology, laser detection technology for seam tracking is concerned by many researchers because of its merits of large information and high precision. The automatic seam welding machine tool and control system are developed based on laser sensor measuring, the welding quality and efficiency are greatly improved by this method and machine system.In order to achieve high efficiency and high-quality welding, the way of real-time detection and seam tracking is carried out according to the requirements of bellow features and welding performance. The equipment for seam welding system is designed Based on the analysis of laser visual principle and the optical triangulation method theory, laser sensor is used to detect welding position, and the accurate coordinates of welding seam is got through data transformation and filtering.An open control system of seam tracking welding is designed which is based on "IPC+BALDOR". The structure and principle of bellows welding control system are introduced, the main structure of hardware and functions are designed in detail about the control system of the bellows welding. The functions of machine tool initialization, data collecting and processing servo motor drive are realized by control system. Finally, VC++6.0 programming tool which is object-oriented is used to develop a visualization, high efficiency and flexibility software system to realize on-line detection and automatic control tracking welding seam.The comparison of both quality and efficiency between manual and automatic welding through many experiments showed that the system is reliable and efficiency, the automation level of bellows welding is greatly improved, the welding quality and efficiency is also ensured. |
