Energy consumption of chemical separation process is the main of total energy consumption, so energy-saving has a great significance to separation process. There both involved the regeneration of absorption liquid in the processes of removing sulfur and removing water in natural gas refining equipment.which is the desorption of rich solution,belongs to separation process in distillation.In the study of energy-saving,in order to know the energy efficiency,it need do energy analysis to total process.Energy analysis is an extremely useful thermodynamic analysis method,we can know the energy efficiency of a process or a device,then find the effective ways of energy saving through energy analysis.This paper do energy analysis to the natural gas equipment firstly,find the place where energy use unreasonable.and analyze the energy saving potential to the system.The result shows that,it can save heating utility consumption and cooling consumption 778.392KW and 778.393KW respectively.In pinch analysis,studying the method that determine the temperature difference value in depth.Using a new method to determine the temperature difference contribution value,considering the effect of energy loss to temperature difference,calculateing the annual cost of heat exchanger networks.It shows that,compara with the traditional method which determines the temperature difference value,the annual cost of exchanger networks with the new method decrease 23.31%.After energy diagnosing,with optimizing operate parameters and structure to optimize the system.This paper simulates the process of removing sulfur and removing water by the chemical software PROII. Analyzes the energy consumption of whole process and each unit,the thermodynamic efficiency and energy loss of the whole process.Two suggestions for process improving were put forward,the first method is heat pump distillation,which depends on consuming some mechnial energy to rise low temperature stream.The second is grading absorption,which decrease the energy consumption by decreasing the amount of solution.This paper does the simulation of the two new processes by PROII,and energy analysis to each process.lt shows that,in reaching the cleaning requirements,they both have the effect of saving energy.Compared with traditional process,heat pump distillation process and grad absorption process can save energy 20.33% and 16.18% separately.
