| The concentrations of six kinds of heavy metals (Cu,Zn,Pb,Cd,Cr,Ni) in soil around YunFu pyrite mining area were determined and analyzed in present study. The spatial characteristics of all the six heavy metal elements were studied based on geostatistics methods. Specifically, the methods of geostatistics and GIS were used to analyze the characteristics of heavy metals for spatial variability, spatial distribution, and pollution status in small-scale investigation of the soil.The main research contents are as follow:(1) The recommendations about reasonable step size for future soil sampling were given by the analysis results of spatial variation and distribution of heavy metal in soil of YunFu pyrite mining area by the concentrations of six kinds of heavy metals of the 42 soil samples.(2) The correlation among regionalized variables such as concentrations of six kinds of heavy metals, pH value and soil organic matter were carried out. The spatial distribution map of soil heavy metals was generated by object-point replacing surface method using GIS programming and Geostatistics theory, and the characteristics of spatial distribution were analyzed based on the map.(3) Individual and comprehensive assessments on soil pollution for the present study area were carried out using the synthetical index methods, and the spatial distribution maps of soil heavy metals pollution levels were generated by the GIS technology based on the assessment results. The visualization of soil pollution evaluation results showed the assessment results maps based on the object-point replacing surface method well approached pollution state and proved reliable results. |
