Iron and steel industry is a pillar industry of national economy, but due to theproduction of steel involves a series of, a large number of resources and energysupplies of the high temperature treatment process, these substances, including coal,coke, limestone, ash, water, air, fuel, steel scrap, iron skin, as well as other recyclingmaterials. Production process such a large number of hightemperaturedust emissions,such emissions are allowed to be treated before discharge into the atmosphere. Ironand steel production are major sources of pollution sintering, coking, iron making,steelmaking and ancillary processes, including emissions of air pollutants in thepollution problems caused by particularly severe, and these dust emissions to theenvironment surrounding a major impact, but also makes iron and steel plants tocontrol air pollution is very difficult and costly. Therefore, the steel industry is anurgent need to fast and effective implementation of clean production, scientificmanagement, technological advancement as a means to achieve energy conservation,energy, the goal of reducing pollution emissions, to maintain human health andecological environment.Cleaner production, including a wide range of work procedures, including theestablishment of cleaner production methods and evaluation index system is theimplementation of cleaner production in management to quantify the most importantaspect for the benefit of cleaner production indicators of management, cleanerproduction assessment of the effects of the scale. In this paper, a structured,comprehensive, both scientific and simplicity of the design principles andsustainability, the combination of theoretical analysis, expert advice, the frequency ofpreliminary statistics and other methods to clean the iron and steel industry productionindex system.
