With the further development of oil field, the complex-form wells and horizontal wells appear continuously. On the basis of the survey of the present situation of steam injection and petroleum engineering of horizontal well, the electronic database of the design of steam injection and petroleum engineering of horizontal well is developed. According to the result of Bigens and Burry's research, the axioms of pressure gradient, liquid holdup, on way resistance are founded , which are the theoretical guidelines of the design of steam injection and petroleum engineering of horizontal well. In the optimization research of steam injection and petroleum engineering of horizontal well, the model of steaming parameters selection of horizontal well is given, and the relevancy between the depth of thermal line and the utilization degree of horizon part is established through the analysis and calculation of the quality and flowing of steaming, the decrease of on way pressure, the distribution of dryness fraction of steam in horizontal wells. The circuits of steaming and petroleum engineering are also designed. The lifting flowing conditions in the pit shaft of selective mining wells are analyzed and compared in different conditions, and the lifting conditions in selective mining wells, the design demand for drilling and well completion, the selective mining parameters are optimized.
