This article utilize existing resource of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co., select 20MnSiV for the steel of the ribbed wire rod, design the pass systems of (6mm, (8mm, (10mm and (12mm combining with the practical experience of ribbed bar and working character of wire rolling mill. The rational rolling technologise system have been made according to the theory of rolling control. Simultaneously, the rolled production is cooled with the technology of Stiremol's cooling control. Try on condition of production prove the character of the reinforced bar can well anwser for the request of GB1499-1998 in every aspect.In order to guarantee the stability and dependability of the rolling system further, separately experimental researched and analysised the arrange of the size of roller neck, heating temperature, spiting silk temperature and cooling speed, etc. The result indicate that the products rolled out will be relatively better in external dimension when the roller neck size of the previous finished stand is shorter 4 mm than that of the previous- previous stand; The austenite crystal of 20MnSiV grow comparatively slow as heating temperature being under 1100 ℃; While the spitting temperature is 880-900℃, the reinforced bar performs steadily and the toughness cooperates better with the intensity; The character of products will get better relatively if it is air-cooled at the speed of 7 ℃/S. The theory in writing combines practice. The establishment and the study of the production technology for the 20MnSiV ribbed wire rod makes the vanadium resource of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co. utilized fully. Further more, the success of trial production provides the effective methold of increasing the economic benefits in the wire factrory. Compared with ordinary steel, the new products enlarge about 60yuan per ton. If this products occupy 50% of total production, it will increase about 10 millions yuan every year.
