Origin And Distribution Characteristics Of Saline Soil In China

With the fast development of China economy and the promotion of"development of the West Regions"policy, construction projects have been extensively carried out in many places, and more and more projects are built in the saline soil areas. Saline soil is increasingly highlighted the dangers to these projects, and has caused tremendous economic losses in our country. The research of saline soil has aroused great importance to the engineering sector in our country at present.Genetic type of saline soil are mainly modern saline soil and Residual saline soil and potential saline soil.There are diverse of factors which affect the formation of saline soil, including climate, topography and landforms, soil parent material, hydrology and hydrogeological conditions, biological salt accumulation, the impact of human economic activity and so on. different origins of Saline soil have different distribution.Saline soil is widely distributed in our country, mainly in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, and coastal in our country.In this paper, by visiting some of the saline soil areas, the author of the present paper performed sampling testing and large amounts of data collection and collation, which describe the broad distribution range of saline soil in our country and its trend of ever-expanding,and makes the new schematic distribution of saline soil.
