The temperature data from SODA and sea surface wind data from NCEP during 1950-1999 were used to investigate the interannual variation characters of the surface and subsurface heat contents in Indian Ocean and their relationship with ENSO by EOF analysis. It is the first time to separate surface and subsurface heatcontent and analyze the relationship with ENSO.Bsaed on fomer resulets,we show the importance of Indian Ocean in spring further.Using NCEP/NCAR atmospheric data and SST data of NOAA dataset from 1950-2007,some statistical methods, such as composited and regression methods, and FOAM Ocean-atmosphere coupled model have been used to systematic and comprehensively study the impacts of the SST interannual anomaly(SSTA) in the Tropical Indian Ocean(TIO) on the atmospheric circulation in East Asian in this paper. At first,we approve that the warm Indian Ocean, being a heat source in spring, can induce the "Matsuno-Gill pattern" atmosphere response.Indue the Rossby wave in the west side and Kelvin wave in the east side of tropical Indian Ocean and make positive height anomaly over west to the Tibetan Plateau at upper level.1.This positive height anomaly could influence downstream by F_s.The anticyclone at the north west Pacific Ocean is intesified and strong eastly wind exist in it southern.East Asia is at the western part of the north west Pacific Ocean anticyclone, and southern wind would transport more water vapor to East Asia and make more precipitation there because of the west wind in cliamte state, releasing latent heat. The vertically spatial nonuniformity of heat source lead to positive height at 200hPa in western of the heat source and at 500hPa in the northeast of the heat source. However, the precipitation in the north west P(?)cific Ocean would decrease.2.The 20 century' s simulative data from IPCC report's climate model reflect the influences on the East Asia circulation basically. There are positive transport of water vapor from South China Sea and Western Pacific. The location of positive height and precipitaion are match.3.The resuls from initial experiment and control-partial coupled experiments examine and certify our suppose based on the analysis of the observations. The experiment results include geopotential height,SST,transport of water vapor, precipitation.
