| The dynamical behavior of an acousto-optic bistable system operating in Bragg regime with optic-electronic feedback loop is investigated. In this thesis we have completed the following works:The latest advances of studies of chaotic dynamics is reviewed ;The mechanisms of the generations of optical bistablility and chaos in acousto-optic systems are discussed and the achievements of investigation on chaos in acousto-optic system are summarized. The condition of generation of chaos in an acousto-optic optical bistable system is theoretically studied. The chaos is generated by varying the delay time of the feedback loop while keeping the other parameters unchanged. Numerical simulations are also performed.Experimental examination for the above theoretical analysis by changing the time delay using a coaxial cable while keeping the other control parameters unchanged, the experimental results are monitored by oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer. The experimental results are compared with theoretical analysis. |
