This work mainly studies the application of MAXWELL fisheye micro-sphere-lens of virtual parameter with gradient refractive index(GRIN) distributing on dispersion material and the characteristic of MAXWELL fisheye lens with virtual parameter.GRIN micro-sphere is a new-type optical element, its optical function is mainly achieved by the inhomogeneous reflective index distributing of the medium.It has such advantages—small volume,short optical path,lightness in weight, easiness in producing by wholesale,etc. It has great potentialities in such fields as micro-optics,integrated optics and optics communication.First ,we introduce the refractive index distributiing actuality of GRIN medium, especially the spherical symmetry GRIN medium. Then we bring out a new method by which we can get the GRIN distributiing function from the track of ray. A new kind of spherical gradient refractive index distributing is brought out, it is MAXWELL fisheye distributing of virtual parameter.Then we study the improvement of it to dispersion material. At last the imaging aberration and multiplex configuration of the MAXWELL fisheye lens with virtual parameter are studied.Main contents as followed:Chapter 1. Simply introduce the background knowledge of gradient index optics, micro-optics and polymer gradient index material. Besides, elaborate the contents and significance of the research.Chapter 2. A total introduction on the refractive index distributiing actuality of GRIN medium is made. Then the one about the spherical symmetry GRIN medium is emphasized. The facture of GRIN material is introduced in short.Chapter 3. From the basic theory of spherical symmetry GRIN medium, we bring out a new method on calculating the GRIN distributiing function., then several examples are given on the method.
