To confirm the anatomize structure of Reaumuria soongorica and its physiology-ecology characters adapt to the drought condition: ①The dissection of stems and leaves of Reaumuria soongorica. ② The content of proline, MDA and Chlorophyll of Reaumuria soongorica under drought was mensurated. ③ The LI-6400(LICOR, Inc. Lincoln, NE, USA) portable photosynthesis system was used to mensurate the Pn, E, Gs and PAR of Reaumuria soongorica grow in the field. ④ The Hansatech Flurescence Monitoring System (FMS-2, Hansatech, UK ) was used to measure the Fv/Fm, F0, FPSⅡ, qp, qN and KD of Reaumuria soongorica. Results as follows: ① Observing slices of stems and leaves of Reaumuria soongorica under microscope, the structure of xerophyte were observed. The stems and leaves of Reaumuria soongorica have peculiar structure to resist damage form dought. Reaumuria soongorica have the typical characters of xerophytes that let Reaumuria soongorica have the ability of drought-resist. ② The content of proline increases always, the content of MDA does not increase constantly but the trend is increases, the content of chlorophyll increases at first and then decreases. Under drought-stress Reaumuria soongorica could accumulate solute such as proline to reduce the damages get from drought. ③ The Pn, E and Gs of Reaumuria soongorica were higher in the morning and afternoon than in the noon. The decrease of stomatal conductance let Reaumuria soongorica reduce it net photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate. ④ The Fv/Fm, F0, FPSⅡand qp of Reaumuria soongorica increase at first but decrease by then. The qN and KD of Reaumuria soongorica decrease at first and then decrease. When photosyn—thesis active radiation reach certain degree, Reaumuria soongorica could increase its heat dissipation to reduce the damage from high light.
