Since the Eighteen Party’s Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC Central Committee with the core of general secretary Xi Jinping,attaches great importance to inherit and develop the Chinese excellent traditional culture.The Nineteen Party’s Congress also emphasizes that we should deeply expound and explain the ideology,humanistic spirit and moral standards that contained in Chinese excellent traditional culture in order to show its permanent charm and elegant fascination.Family precepts take an important part of Chinese traditional culture,as well as the core and key to the ancient family education.The family precepts has entered the prosperous period in the Ming Dynasty,which records and contains the family moral education theories and practice methods that can bring reference and inspiration for the contemporary family moral education.This paper attempts to adopt the views of history and reality that objectively and dialectically sketch the outline of Ming family precepts in order to explore and elaborate the contemporary value of outstanding moral education thoughts about Ming family precepts.Firstly,for comprehensively and accurately showing the characteristics and connotation of the moral education thoughts about family’s precepts in Ming Dynasty,this paper completely covers the economic trade,political system,culture thoughts and social customs so as to introduce the specific historical background of Ming Dynasty.Specifically contain the twelve factors: natural environment,production relations,the concept of farming and reading;centralization of authority,the imperial examination system,patriarchal system;Confucian culture,ethical culture,home etiquette culture;social characteristics,folk education,local rules and regulations and so on.Secondly,based on historical literature,the author has made a detailed analysis and discussion about the outstanding moral education thoughts of the Ming family precepts,including the way to read and study;the way to manage the family;the way to cultivate one’s moral character;the way to teach children and women;the way to make friends,and so on.Third,this paper not only examines the essential connotation,the historical position and the age limitation about the Ming family precepts,but also explains the methods and ideas of modern value transformation.Furthermore,it clearly definites the orientation and direction of value transformation in the three aspects--individual,family and society.Finally,considering realities and problems about family moral education,we aim at seeking the enlightenment of outstanding moral thoughts from the Ming family precepts.In short,from the theoretical significance,using for reference of the way to improve moral quality,using for reference of the benevolence and righteousness,drawing lessons from teaching methods,drawing on the experience of influence the people and form moral customs,taking lessons from reading books,supply and improve the theoretical system of modern family moral education.From the practical significance,discuss the existence and inheritance of Ming family precepts’ moral educational thoughts;Expand and provide the new methods and new contents for contemporary Chinese family moral education;build a new paradigm of contemporary Chinese family moral education.
