From Recognition To Freedom - Honneth Acknowledges Theoretical Research

beings,to achieve human equality,justice and freedom of the possibility of the door.As an outstanding representative and thought leader of the third generation of the Frankfurt school,with the help of the theory of recognition,Honneth get into the center’s core areas of academic and public opinion into the ideological debate.Therefore,the analysis and investigation of Honneth’s recognition theory in the era of historical position and value,especially to admit theory to solve these problems from the thinking principle of interpretation and analysis of the current social problems of the moral culture oriented and forward-looking significance is the value of the times.This article takes the path of thinking from recognition to freedom as the main clue to analyze and solve problems,and develops along the logical process of the development of theory.Honneth has abandoned that the subject of the atomistic thinking,follows Habermas’s communicative rationality of traditional thought.And he is based on the logical perspective of group subject,in order to realize the value pursuit and goal orientation of the human community,and then to achieve the theoretical demands and historical socialism.At the same time,the author reviews the theoretical paradigm transformation of Frankfurt school,which lays a theoretical and realistic driving force for the emergence of recognition theory.On this basis,the author analyzes ideological resources of Honneth’s recognition theory in the formation.These resources not only have the inherent theoretical accumulation of the critical theory of Frankfurt school,extending its theory development of problem consciousness.But also have inherited Hegel,Mead,Foucault,Habermas and other thinkers in the reference topic origin,experience transformation,methods and theories of inheritance and so on.In addition,Honneth have ideological explored diligently,formed the theoretical paradigm and the orientation of recognition,and promoted the development of the theory of recognition and to meet the requirements of the times.The second part,Based on the analysis of the meaning of recognition,this article reveals the basic mode of recognition,the relationship of intersubjectivity including the love,the law and the unity,and demonstrates three different moral potential.And the intersubjectivity premise of the recognition theory.Then,focus on the moral interpretation of social conflict,and the recognition theory of justice as the main body of the self realization of the relationship between the practical aspects of the recognition theory has been a useful complement and perfection,then constructs the multiple justice theory with the recognition as the core.The third part,study Honneth’s recognition theory to achieve positive freedom.This returns to the most profound existence,from the self-love,self-esteem,pride of intersubjectivity rose to the height of freedom.So the recognition focus on the reality of human existence and real life,pursue the authenticity and possibility of freedom.Hornneth believes that positive freedom is a practical choice,and is a positive planning and effective shaping.He put his thoughts into the understanding and construction of the freedom to advance with the times,expecting to take the mutual recognition model as the theoretical foundation,and carry out the reconstruction of the normative order with the form of justice.And he creates a free theory system which evolves from legal freedom and moral freedom to social freedom.In order to achieve the ideal state of freedom
