| In a multicultural society that has emerged gradually in Taiwan since the lifting of martial law in 1987 are released the memories repressed during the authoritarian regime,various marginal communities claim in different positions for approaches to construct their subjectivity,and on its way to becoming the mainstream culture,localization construction has an influence on the family recognizance of diverse communities which give rise to family writing affected by different cultural concepts.Since the lifting of martial law,family writing in Taiwanese literature has been gazing into and representing family and its members,which mirrors the transformation of society and history and sheds light on different people’s inner worlds and feelings in this transformation.Family complex embodies the changing cultural concepts and political ideologies.The changing cultural field provides family writing with the context in which multiple subjects writing is possible,whereas family writing offers us avenues free of the restrictions of political ideologies to meditate on the development of Taiwan culture.This paper is organized around the characteristics of family writing since from the lifting of matial law in 1987.The main content are as follows:Chapter one analysis the development of family writing in Taiwan literature history,it is based on investigating the family wrting in Chinese modern literature history.In this contrast perspective,explores the origin and development of family writing in Taiwan literature.Chapter two interprets the theme of family writing since from the lifting of martial law in 1987,which extend and enrich the theme of family wrting of Chinese literature in the 20th century.First mainly explain the imagination of hometown and the concept of Chinese culture in the family writing of the first generation migration from China 1949,such as Zhu Xining.His novel Family Biography of Hua Taiping was written with creative attitude of pure literature and psychological "after adherents",the work reflected the modern intellectuals ’ humanistic concern of redemption of home and country,it is beyond the culture of national identity and political position.Then illustrates the complex,chulture concept and the feelings of the next generation relative to be considered for Zhu Xining,whose works represent historical memory and the Taiwan’s family development traces.Base on this to review the historical features of Taiwan,it is not in Taiwan/China,the province/provinces such opposing bicultural discourse could cover.Chapter three analyses the gender perspective of family writing.The first section examines the significance of the family writing about family reconstruction in the Name of the Father’s and the process of construcion female subjectivity in the female writers’works.It is different to express the image of the "Fathers" in the family writing with different concept.The second senction illustrates the female writer’s family writing how explore and restore the image of the silent mothers,in their works the process of mothers to be themselves is be reproduced with Feminist opinion.The female writers seek the way to construct women’s subjectivity and have a dialogue between paternal and maternal in the family by writing family.The last section explores the imagination about history of family and history of Taiwan with different gender perspective in the famliy writing.In family writing the fathers state is languishing as fathers’body is no longer strong,on the other hand,fathers’ authority of history construction is impacted by the reality of social context where they live.The female wrtier express the concept of family and Taiwan with multiple perspective by representing family legend,goddess metaphor,gender perspective and so on.Chapter four discusses the new narrative feature and the aesthetic value of family writing.First discusses the significance of two narrative modes and special narrative ways which embodied in the family writing in Taiwan.In recent years,the imagination about family in the family writing is different from previous works,and the documentary and fictional of familiy writing is noteworthy,too.This characteristic is presented by autobiographical narrative and life experience narrative.In additon,it is important to explore the fate and mind of the human individual in the special context.Based on these,interprets the significance of aesthetics and the value of ethic embodied in the family writing.Chapter five examines the social cultural context that influenced the family writing in Taiwan since from the lifting of matial law.The first section analyzes the culture and literary trend which impacted the family writing since from the lifting of matial law and discusses the relationship between the literature connotation of family writing and the external environment;The second section analyzes the change of cultural concept that influenced family writing,and the reason of the second generation mainlander writers’ family writing and the meaning of family reappearance in their works.At last,mainly discusses the external evaluation that so-called "politically correct or incorrect" effected the family writing,and observes the reference dialectical value from the special emotional experience of family writing of political ideology. |
