| The moral education performance of graduate students is a general reflection of the following: therealization degree, the arrangement of the process, and the allocation of the resource of graduate students'moral education. As the achievement and effect produced by a moral education worker according tocertain objectives and with influence on graduate students, this performance is cognizable and assessable. Being an important concept in the management of human resources, performance is an effective measureand objective criterion in evaluating all human activities. The moral education of graduate students will bemore pertinent and targeted with the introduction of the concept of performance upon which the evaluationsystem of moral education of graduate students is established. Moreover, it has both theoretical andpractical values in dealing with the unbalanced relationship of high input & low output in moral educationwork. Guided by Marxist human science, this dissertation brings forth its discussion from fivedifferent perspectives, i.e. common issues, morality survey of graduate students, the status quoof the moral education of graduate students, the means to enhance performance, and theestablishment of the evaluation system of performance. Through investigation and studies, thedissertation points out that graduate students love their socialist motherland and support theCPC's basic line. Diligent and enterprising as they are, the students have an upward mainstreamin their ideology. This is an indication of the achievement we have thus gained in the moraleducation of graduate students, but at the same time it still cannot cover some problems there inwhich are mainly: ambiguous ideals, unstable faith, pragmatism and utilitarianism, absence ofbasic moralities, weak social morality, deviated orientation of value, and increasing problems inmental health. The weakened performance of the moral education of graduate students mightresult from the following four aspects: mistaken ideas, lack of elements, defects in institution, andchanges in environment. The dissertation then suggests corresponding policies: theestablishment of a scientific concept of the moral education performance, the rational allocationof the elements of moral education, the appropriate arrangement of the moral education system, and the optimization of the moral education environment. In the last part of the dissertation, several issues concerning the establishment of the evaluation system for the moral education ofgraduate students are brought forward, including its meaning, elements and index system, etc.Although this is only an initial probe into this field, I have benefited from and will still persevere inan effort to pursue innovation. |
